Associate Professor in the Department of Historical and Geographical Sciences at the Universidad de Tarapacá (Chile). She holds a B.A. in History from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Ph.D. in Latin American History from the University of California, Davis.
Her research interests include health and migration, mental health, and complementary and alternative medicine (CAM/TM) in Peru and Latin America.
