ICLAC members participate in the International Congress of Political Sciences (IPSA)

On July 15th and 16th, the 27th IPSA World Congress of Political Sciences in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in which members of the Millennium Nucleus ICLAC participated and presented their research. 

The researchers who participated were Francisco Urdinez, ICLAC Director; Associate Researchers Diego Telias and Juliana González – Jauregui; and doctoral students Luciano Quispe and Andrea Freites, in the panel “Sino – Latin American Interdependence”. 

Andrés Bórquez, Principal Researcher, presented at the panel “The growing presence of China in Latin America” with his research “The Growing Chinese Economic Presence in Chile: Opinions among the Chilean Elite”. 

Finally, Associate Researcher Juan Enrique Serrano participated in the panel “New Perspectives of Populism” with his work “Did the pandemic spread populism? Comparative study on the transformations of citizen movements in Chile and Hong Kong”.
