On Friday, June 21, the final seminar of the “China Powers” series of webinars was held. This series was organized by Worlds of Lithium researchers Cristóbal Bonelli and Pablo Ampuero from the University of Amsterdam, in collaboration with our Millennium Nucleus ICLAC.
The third seminar, titled "The drivers of electromobility in Chinese worlds”, delved into how the decarbonization of transport involves more than just a technological shift; it entails profound changes in the ways and times that workspaces and daily lives are structured. The panelists for this final session included David Tyfield from Lancaster University; Haley Kwan Hiu-Lap from the University of Hong Kong; and Pablo Ampuero-Ruiz from the University of Amsterdam. The session was moderated by Cristóbal Bonelli and our ICLAC Associate Director, María Montt.
During the seminar, Bonelli expressed the hope that this webinar series would help re-imagine “electromobilities” beyond the rational confines of modern technology.
The initiative saw participation from individuals across various countries, with over 150 registrants.
