This Wednesday December 13th, a part of the Millennium Nucleus ICLAC team met with the coordinators of the Mandarin Chinese language teaching courses of the Mineduc/CLEC agreement, created in 2004.
María Elvira Ríos, Carolina Díaz, Francisco Urdinez, and María Montt participated in the meeting alongside Marcela Salgado, Ministry of Education and director of the program, together with authorities and teachers of Chinese from four schools in the Ñuble region (Colegio Bicentenario Padre Alberto Hurtado de Chillán, Liceo Bicentenario Claudio Arrau de Coihueco; Puente Ñuble Bicentennial High School of Technical Excellence; and Liceo Bicentenario San Nicolás).
The Millennium Nucleus ICLAC seeks to support this network which brings together more than 1,000 Mandarin Chinese students. As a first event, teachers were invited to participate in the ICLAC Summer Course that will be held the week of January 15, 2024.
