Abstract: The articles in this thematic section are an invitation to think about the relationship between the ideological bases in the design and implementation of China's policy in the Xi era and the perception of China's rise. A mutually constitutive relationship.
As evidenced by the authors who contribute to this dossier, it is a topic that due to its importance and historical significance, should be seen not only as a matter of exclusive interest to a group of specialists in the area. Beyond the intellectual curiosity generated by these issues, these articles are an invitation to expand our knowledge, encourage debate, and generate discussions that allow us to obtain a further robust understanding of the world and a more solid explanation of its transformations and implications, especially since China's foreign policy in the era of Xi Jinping deeply impacts the entire world, including our Latin American region.
