Vice President for International Affairs at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She is an Associate Professor at the Institute of History of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and a member of the Steering Committee of the UC Asian Studies Center.
Her areas of interest focus on the cultural and diplomatic relations between China and Latin America, as well as between Asia and Latin America, cultural history, and public history. She is currently dedicated to the study of the perception, representation and imagery of “China” and Asia in the region; the Chinese diaspora and Asian communities in Latin America, and trips and travelers to China, from an interdisciplinary perspective.
