Vicerrectora de Asuntos Internacionales de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Profesora asociada del Instituto de Historia de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile y parte del Consejo Directivo del Centro de Estudios Asiáticos UC.
Her areas of interest focus on the cultural and diplomatic relations between China and Latin America, as well as between Asia and Latin America, cultural history, and public history. She is currently dedicated to the study of the perception, representation and imagery of “China” and Asia in the region; the Chinese diaspora and Asian communities in Latin America, and trips and travelers to China, from an interdisciplinary perspective.
