Her postdoctoral project seeks to understand how, from the last century to the present, poets, musicians and immigrant communities in Chile have incorporated sound elements linked to India and China through "sound translations". She investigates both the historical connections between regions through word and sound, as well as current projects in Chile, analyzing how poetry and music from Asia influence poetry and music in Latin America. The project incorporates literary analysis, sound analysis, interviews, audio and video recordings, and her own participation as a poet and musician in artistic communities and creative networks that explore sound translation.
