Research areas: Chinese investment in urban spaces and Chinese malls.
Experience at ICLAC:
– Coordinadora de Plataforma Multimedia del Núcleo Milenio ICLAC.
– Data analysis and georeferencing of Chinese foreign direct investment for the Investment Map, under the supervision of Professor Francisco Urdinez.
– Participation in salmon farming and lithium case reports, directed by Professor Johannes Rehner.
– Development of an Alliance Map for the Millennium Nucleus.
Current projects:
– Development of a map of Chinese malls in the Metropolitan Region.
– Collaboration with Professor Carol Chan and her team in research on Chinese malls.
– Tesista del proyecto FONDECYT 1241683: “Actores, prácticas e impactos de las geografías de la financiarización urbana en Chile” (dirigido por el profesor Luis Fuentes). En este marco, investiga la expansión, tipología y mecanismos de producción de los malls chinos en el Gran Santiago (2006-2025).
