ICLAC is present in the discussion on the Belt and Road Initiative 

On January 16th, Francisco Urdinez, UC Political Science professor and director of Millennium Nucleus ICLAC, participated in a discussion in Colombia, intending to analyze the possible participation of this country in the Belt and Road Initiative promoted by China. 

The meeting was organized by the Andrés Bello Foundation – Chinese Latin American Research Center, in collaboration with Colombia's Vice Ministry of Foreign Relations and featured the participation of regional experts from Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Chile, who shared their knowledge and each country's experiences participating in the Chinese initiative. 

Within the commission of academics and specialists, FLACSO–Argentina professor and ICLAC associate researcher Juliana González Jauregui also participated.
