From July 15 to 17, Renzo Burotto, ICLAC thesis student and master's candidate in International Studies at the University of Chile, participated in the 1st Congress of Latin American Sinologists held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Renzo was a panelist on the second day of the event, participating in the session “Dialogue and Transcultural Exchanges Between Chinese and Latin American Civilizations,” which took place at the National University of Lanús.
The congress aimed to promote dialogue between different cultures and strengthen mutual understanding and relations between China and Latin America. The event was organized by the World Sinology Center of Beijing Language and Culture University, along with the University of Buenos Aires, the National University of Lanús, and the National University of José C. Paz.
