Abstract: This document aims to provide an overview of the historical associations established in Chile by Chinese migrants and their descendants. It is organized in geographical order, beginning with northern Chile. It is the result of collaboration between members or descendants of each group, the ICLAC Millennium Nucleus team, and the Chilean Asian Project. The document is intended to be a work in progress, subject to continuous revision with the support of members of the communities involved. Rather than offering a comprehensive account of the topic, it seeks to provide a starting point for those interested in learning more about these groups and the historical presence and continuing legacy of Chinese migrants in the country. It is hoped to encourage greater interest among students, academic researchers, and the members of these groups themselves to continue documenting their local and family histories.
