Abstract: This document summarizes the history and contributions of Cheng Ning Hui Antofagasta to the city in which it is established. It is a social and cultural organization founded in 1937 in Antofagasta, Chile, by Chilean-born descendants of Chinese immigrants. It is the result of an ongoing collaboration between the group and researchers from ICLAC and the Chilean Asian Project. It aims to make visible an example of the legacy and continued presence of historical Chinese migration in the country.
