Resumen: The Latino-Pacific concept attempts to strengthen Latin America’s autonomy and reduce its marginalization within a world order centered on the Asia-Pacific. It foregrounds the continent’s key role in supply chain resilience, via a focus on its numerous advantages: mineral resources, surplus food, energy potential, and geographical position. The hope is that this will result in multilateral and bilateral cooperation, diversifying partnerships and confirming Latin America’s role as an autonomous agent in the new world order.
